Joseph F. McGinn is a lifetime resident of Council Bluffs. Joe is the son of the founders of the McGinn Law Firm, Albert and Kathleen McGinn. A Korean War Veteran (1952-54), Joe graduated from Creighton Law School in 1957 and is licensed to practice in the states of Iowa and Nebraska. He is engaged in the general practice of law including the areas of estates and wills, taxation and real estate.
Joe is involved in numerous civic activities including: Past President of Pottawattamie County Bar Association, Past President of Saint Albert Catholic Schools Education Foundation, Past President of Council Bluffs Area Catholic Education System, recipient of Saint Albert Freddy Falcon Award, Third and Fourth Degree Knights of Columbus, member Alzheimer's Association Southwest Iowa Advisory Council, and member Ancient Order of Hibernians.
Joe and his wife Mary Lou attend Saint Peter's Catholic Church in Council Bluffs.
